Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson delivered some magic against the Bengals
The early Sunday window in Week 5 of the 2024 NFL season has given fans some thrilling contests. The game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars has been a back-and-forth affair, the game between the Buffalo Bills and the Houston Texans feels like a playoff game, and even the game between the Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots is heading down to the wire.
In Cincinnati, the Bengals are hosting the Baltimore Ravens, in a battle of old rivals looking to get back into the thick of the playoff discussion. While the Bengals are leading that game right now, Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson just delivered a signature moment as few quarterbacks in the NFL can.
With Baltimore facing a 2nd-and-goal situation at the Cincinnati 6-yard line, the Ravens and Jackson almost experienced disaster. With the Ravens trailing by ten Jackson bobbled the shotgun snap, and could have been sacked.
But he picked up the football, scrambled to his feet, and did ... this:
ONLY LAMAR. WOW.

Jackson somehow stays upright and keeps this alive, before connecting with Isaiah Likely on one of the most improbable six-yard touchdown passes you will ever see.
Perhaps the most jaw-dropping aspect of this? Jackson shrugs off Sam Hubbard with his left arm while keeping his eyes downfield. Hubbard is listed at 6’5, 265 and Jackson just brushed him aside, as Kevin Harlan said on CBS Sports as a “rag doll.”
Whether Baltimore goes on to pull out this win or not remains to be seen, but this is a play that will likely be revisited when “Play of the Year” discussions are had.
