GEORDIE Shore star Marnie Simpson has opened up about her decision to go under the knife for stomach surgery after childbirth left her confidence at an all-time low.
The mother-of-two checked herself into the exclusive Dr Ducu clinic in central London for a skin-tightening stomach procedure, after being left with various ‘abnormalities’ following her C-section.

“I’ve been really insecure about a lot of problems with my stomach. Ever since I’ve had children. I’ve had a lot of abnormalities, I’ve got a terrible -C-section scar that I absolutely hate, there’s a lot of lumps and bumps and I’ve heard that Dr Ducu is amazing.
He’s been recommended by so many friends of mine and I am so excited to improve this problem and boost my confidence.”
The reality star is having a special procedure provided by the clinic called the Skintight TM, which gets rid of excess skin under local anesthetic and promises to leave no scarring.
A special cannula is used to melt superficial fat, causing the skin to shrink and lift.
Hyaluronic acid is then used to stimulate collagen and improve firmness and hydration. Essentially it’s an anti aging solution without the invasive surgery.
Recently the influencer and reality star was forced to pull out of Celeb SAS Who Dares Wins, after finding that just 10 months after giving birth she ‘wasn’t ready.”
In fact, filming took place less than a year after Marnie gave birth to her second child.
The gruelling show – known for being brutal and dangerous – proved too much for the new mum.
In fact, conditions were so bad that Marnie left the show after just 32 minutes.
The reality star now admits she “wasn’t ready” to do the series.
Speaking to The Mirror she said: “I don’t think I realised just how tough it was going to be I think I was being a bit delusional.
“Mentally and physically I just wasn’t ready for it.”
Reflecting on whether she would sign up to Celeb SAS again, she said: “But I do think I’d tackle things differently if I ever did a show like this again.
“I’d make sure I was in better shape, both physically and mentally. “
