IS it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s Strictly’s head judge Shirley Ballas – who will be making a flying entrance into the studio tonight.
Insiders revealed Shirley, 64, had agreed to make the spectacular entrance onto the dancefloor after producers said they wanted to jazz up the judges’ arrivals.

A source said: “Shirley might be close to claiming her bus pass but she’s fit as a fiddle and game for anything.
“When the BBC asked the judges if any of them wanted to fly into Strictly, Shirley said yes straight away.
“She loves making the show fun and this is going to look really impressive to the studio audience and viewers at home.
“Shirley nailed the dress rehearsal and, as Craig Revel-Horwood would say: ‘It’s going to be Fab-u-lous.’”
Shirley was made head judge back in 2017 when Len Goodman stepped away from the show.
She sits on the panel alongside Craig, Anton Du Beke and Motsi Mabuse.
Back in April Shirley told The Sun she’d had a breast cancer scare and spoke out to urge other women to check themselves.
She got the all clear and told us of the “immense gratitude” she had to her family and friends, as well as fans, who got in touch to wish her well.
