The vast majority of out weekend will see mostly sunny skies across Central Ohio. Most people can expect dry conditions, but there will be a very small chance for scattered rain. Cooler temperatures return to the area by the start of the work week. Next to zero chances of additional rainfall will be present.
For fans heading to Ohio Stadium or for any other outdoor plans today, there will be fantastic weather across the whole region. Very few clouds will be around this morning, then mainly sunny skies remain the rest of the day. Temperatures will reach the upper 70s for the daytime high.
Tonight with mostly clear skies and a fairly decent geomagnetic activity, there will be a small chance to see the northern lights across Central Ohio. The best chance to see them will be north of the city. Lows tonight will fall to the mid 50s
Another taste of summer returns to Central Ohio for Sunday with temperatures reaching the mid 80s. This comes ahead of a cold front that will move through late in the afternoon. A few areas, mainly east of the city, will see a couple of scattered showers with a rumble of thunder or two. Wind speeds for everyone will pick up both before and after the front's passing.
