There is no shortage of Portland events centered around Halloween, food and other fun.

The fall edition of the Portland Night Market will feature food vendors, baby goats, fun photo-ops, local artists and more. The event is free for all ages.

Season of Screams is kicking off its opening weekend with new scares and vendors in a 40,000-square-foot exhibit hall. Attendees will recognize the familiar Underhill Manor and Terror Ship attractions, along with the new Witches Bog.

In its 11th year, FashioNXT will highlight Portland’s fashion scene in the iconic Big Pink for the first time ever. The runway shows will also showcase designers from other parts of the Pacific Northwest and New York City.

All Zupan’s Market locations will offer fresh Kumamoto oyster shooters for $3. Customers can pair them with discounted wine or beer on sale for as little as $3 to $7.

Hundreds of tattoo artists and similar vendors will take over the Portland Expo Center this weekend. Attendees can get some new ink or buy merch from brands like Sonny’s House of Tattoos and Treasures and Inkaffeinated Collective. Tickets cost $25 per day or $60 for three-day admission.

H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival will highlight the best independent films in the horror genre on all three of the Hollywood Theatre’s screens. The three-day event also includes author talks, readings and art. The full festival pass costs $90.

It’s not too late to sign up for the annual Portland Marathon, half marathon or 10K presented by Oregon Health and Science University. Runners over 21 years old will receive a free, Oregon-brewed beer at the finish line.
