PITTSFIELD, Mass. (NEWS10) -- A Pittsfield man has been taken into custody in connection to a stabbing investigation on Kent Avenue, according to police. Rajiv Hanger, 24, is facing multiple felony charges.
Officers arriving at Kent Avenue on Tuesday night located a 30-year-old man with a life-threatening stab wound. The victim was taken to Berkshire Medical Center for treatment, where police say he remains in critical condition.
On Thursday afternoon, Hanger was arrested on a warrant by Pittsfield Police and the Berkshire County Law Enforcement Task Force after he was identified as a suspect in the investigation. He now faces the following charges:
