A TikTok user out for a walk in the woods claims to have run across Bigfoot – and recorded the closest-up footage of it yet.
Bigfoot, also called Sasquatch, is a large, hairy mythical creature with human-like facial features that many have claimed to have spotted in forests across North America.
Earlier this week, TikTok user @e_man580 shared a 10-second clip of his apparent encounter with Bigfoot at Parallel Forest in Lawton, Oklahoma.
Shot from in between trees, a massive brown furry creature is seen sitting against a tree and holding branches. As the TikTok user zooms slightly in, it turns to look directly at the camera.
The video then goes shaky, displaying a whirlwind of blurry vegetation, and cuts out.
‘Scariest moment of my life and I really think I caught a f***ing Bigfoot on camera in parallel forest,’ @e_man580 captioned the video.
‘I wakes just doing some sight seeing and enjoying the day and saw something in the distance.
‘Im still shaking as I type this.’
The video had more than 28,000 shares as of Thursday afternoon.
Some viewers questioned whether it was really a Sasquatch.
‘It can’t be him, the REAL Bigfoot is blurry, haven’t yall seen the pics,’ wrote user commented.
To that, @e_man580 replied: ‘That’s why I had to capture him myself when I saw him but you can see I was terrified getting this footage.’

Another user mentioned the resemblance to a Jack Link’s beef jerky ad, suggesting it was the same costume.
Someone else remarked: ‘That’s the best video I’ve seen in my life.’
‘I appreciate that,’ replied @e_man580. ‘I ain’t going back out there without an army though.’
Unlike the latest video, most recordings of the alleged Sasquatch have been taken from a distance, at least 200 yards away.
Lawton is about 90 miles southwest of Oklahoma City.
