A Michigan business owner refuted a right-wing reporter who claimed that the U.S. flag had become "a symbol of the Republican Party."
While speaking to Donald Trump supporters before a rally in Saginaw, RSBN host Christina Loren suggested that few Democrats own U.S. flags.
"And the fact that you are actually selling something that we can all appreciate, the American flag," she told the man. "Tell me about how it's become a symbol of the Republican Party, to be honest... you typically don't associate that with the Democrats."
The business owner immediately pushed back.
"No, I mean, we have a lot of Democrat customers," the man explained. "Don't get me wrong."
"And you know, they have their own beliefs on everything, and that's fine," he added. "That's why we live in this country, so we can have the freedoms to believe in what we want to."
"And I have a lot of them that buy the U.S. flag from me and different flags from me, and I'm proud to sell it to them."

Loren also suggested that Democrats who don't appreciate the U.S. flag should leave the country.
"I've always been of the thought that if you don't want to be here, you can sell your citizenship because somebody from another country is going to want to buy that opportunity to be in this country," she opined.
Selling citizenship is not something that's legally possible.
