POWELL, Ohio (WCMH) - There are different forms of yoga many try, including hot yoga, aerobic yoga, restorative yoga and more. But the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is bringing in their own type of yoga exercise to the mix: sloth yoga.
The Columbus Zoo announced its upcoming sessions called "Slothvasana: Yoga with Sloths" from Nov. 2-3. Attendees can enjoy a private class experience at the zoo with its Sloth Ambassadors, who will make appearances throughout the class.
Patrons can enjoy their peaceful session followed with snacks and a complimentary mimosa for those who are 21 years and older. There will also be a sloth-themed raffle, a free t-shirt and more. Those who participate will also be able to meet with sloth after the session as well.
During the session, expect to see a sloth or two in the room during the session at various times. Due to the safety, the sloths will not be in the room during the whole session, according to the zoo. Attendees will also not be allowed to hold or touch the sloths.
The event is for anyone 10 years and older, and those who are 21 and older will need to bring a photo I.D. to enjoy the mimosa. The zoo also asks patrons to bring their own mats as well. To get your tickets for the zoo's sloth yoga, click here.
