Reese Witherspoon Took a Total 180 With Her Red Carpet Fashion at the 2024 Emmys

While we’re used to Reese Witherspoon lighting up the red carpet with a colorful, structural dress of some kind, she’s shaking things up for the 2024 Emmys.

We’ve seen Witherspoon model every color of the rainbow on the red carpet, continually being a ray of sunshine. However, at the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards, Witherspoon walked the carpet in a look that’s totally different from her usual red carpet style.

For the 2024 Emmys held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, Witherspoon arrived in a black ballgown from Christian Dior. Along with a black tulle skirt, the dress featured a floral motif of beige appliques throughout; all of which was styled by stylist Petra Flannery.

She donned jewelry from Bucherer, Tourneau, and accessories from Tyler Ellis. She donned a smokey eye and natural face makeup look from Kelsey Deenihan Fisher, and had her hair in an updo from hairstylist Lona Maria Vigi.

Now, Witherspoon arrived in style at the Emmys since she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for her role in The Morning Show. Other nominees include her co-star Jennifer Aniston, Carrie Coon, Maya Erskine, Anna Sawai, and Imelda Staunton.

Like we said, Witherspoon often goes for bright looks, so this new, daring look could signify a new red carpet era for Witherspoon; and we’re obsessed.
