The Patriots were gracious hosts Sunday.
New England had plenty going on, welcoming the Seattle Seahawks to Gillette Stadium to open its home schedule. But that didn't stop the team from adding a few more familiar faces to the fold.
The Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics were both represented, with Charlie McAvoy, Charlie McAvoy, Trent Frederic and other veteran players representing the B's and head coach Joe Mazzulla representing the C's.
New England also hosted members of the Super Bowl XLIX-winning squad, which was announced in advance.
Mazzulla is familiar with Foxboro, Mass., having spent multiple summer sessions learning from both Bill Belichick and Jerod Mayo over the last few years. The Celtics are expected to be celebrated at a Patriots home game before embarking on their title defense.
