A WOMAN has urged people to “trust their intuitions” after she used hers to discover her man’s infidelity.
Ke Ke explained that she was at her boyfriend’s house after flying in long distance, and saw he’d left a load of receipts on the countertop.
She had found a load of receipts on his counter top which showed that he had been out drinking and dining with someone else[/caption]She added that “something told” her to go through the receipts, and it turned out she had reason to be suspicious.
Holding up the first receipt, she showed that it said he had ordered two drinks, followed by another two.
The next receipt was for the same day, as she sighed: “Oh, he just made a f**king day of it.”
That bill said that he had eaten two appetisers and two dinners, but she was still giving him the benefit of the doubt at that point, thinking he may have just been “hungry”.
But then she noticed that on the receipt, it was listed that it had been a “party of two”.
“So I’m like, you know what? I’m already here, I might as well just go through the rest of them,” Ke Ke added in the TikTok video.
The next receipt also showed two different meals, and a party of two.
She went on to rage that he’d been as obvious as to leave the receipts on the counter, as she said: ” When you think you’re looking for s**t, you think you’re gonna look through their phone or their social media.
“But I was here. I’ve been here all weekend. It’s been on the counter this whole time.
“Right here just in my face chillin.”
“If you think something is off, it is,” Ke Ke captioned the video.
And people in the comments section were quick to weigh in on Ke Ke’s warning, with one writing: “In Germany we say, ‘where there is smoke, there is fire’.
“Trust your instinct, girls. It’s always on point.”
“Trust your intuition,” another added.
“My ex went to the bathroom this one time and I was going to pick his phone up and go through the notifications and I put it down thinking why am I doing this.
“I grabbed it again because I got a weird feeling in my stomach and so I did and found messages at 12 am with a girl he was texting.”
Private Investigator Aaron Bond from BondRees revealed four warning signs your partner might be cheating.
They start to take their phone everywhere with them
In close relationships, it’s normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones, if their phone habits change then they may be hiding something.
Aaron says: “If your partner starts changing their passwords, starts taking their phone everywhere with them, even around the house or they become defensive when you ask to use their phone it could be a sign of them not being faithful.”
“You should also look at how they place their phone down when not in use. If they face the phone with the screen facing down, then they could be hiding something.”
They start telling you less about their day
When partners cheat they can start to avoid you, this could be down to them feeling guilty or because it makes it easier for them to lie to you.
“If you feel like your partner has suddenly begun to avoid you and they don’t want to do things with you any more or they stop telling you about their day then this is another red flag.”
“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be tough, remembering all of your lies is impossible and it’s an easy way to get caught out,” says Aaron.
Their libido changes
Your partner’s libido can change for a range of reasons so it may not be a sure sign of cheating but it can be a red flag according to Aaron.
Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but on occasions, they may also have more sex at home, this is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating. You may also find that your partner will start to introduce new things into your sex life that weren’t there before.”
They become negative towards you
Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and to them, it will feel good, this can cause tension and anxiety within themselves which they will need to justify.
“To get rid of the tension they feel inside they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and they will become critical of you out of nowhere. Maybe you haven’t walked the dog that day, put the dishes away or read a book to your children before bedtime. A small problem like this can now feel like a big deal and if you experience this your partner could be cheating,” warns Aaron.
“Literal receipts!” a third wrote.
“No man is choosing to drink two glasses of Sauvignon Blanc on his own,” someone else said.
“It’s like he wants to get caught,” another commented.
To which Ke Ke replied: “Men never want to get caught.
“Give up their cake while they can eat it too? No. They’re just stupid lol!”
“He gotta goooo.” someone else insisted.
As Ke Ke siad: “And he did!”
“You are a true beauty. Heartbreaking,” another wrote.
“I trained my ex to hide stuff soooo well, cuz I would find eeeevveerythiiing… don’t miss that at all,” someone else said.
With Ke Ke replying: “I don’t even look for stuff anymore bc I don’t have the energy.
“Now the universe literally hands it to me.”
“I found a guy was cheating on me when I swept his floor and found red hair,” another wrote.
“I was a brunette. Fun!”
