ROTTERDAM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Rotterdam Police Department reported the arrest of a Rotterdam man for allegedly driving drunk while five children were in his car. Haroon Alradee, 39, faces multiple charges.
Officers from the Rotterdam Police Department were called to Bradt Elementary School on Wednesday for a disturbance call. Police say they learned that Alradee had picked up his son and left in a car after staff observed that he appeared to be intoxicated.
The police say they responded to the man's home and after a short period he arrived. When officers made contact with the man, they said they observed five children riding in the car with him.
According to police, Alradee registered a .30% blood alcohol content after he was taken into custody. He is to return to Rotterdam Court on September 19 for further proceedings.
