ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Albany Police announced the arrest of Corey Martin, 45, of Albany, stemming from an ongoing investigation. Martin is facing multiple felony weapon charges.
On Thursday around 11:40 a.m., Albany detectives operating in connection to the investigation stopped Martin on foot near Quail and West Streets. During the stop, Martin was reportedly found with a loaded handgun, leading to him being taken into custody.
Martin was charged with second and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned at the Albany City Criminal Court before being remanded to the Albany County Jail.
