Hibernian FC celebrated Pat Stanton’s 80th birthday with a unique showcase event in the Famous Five stand on Thursday evening.
Supported by the Hibs Historical Trust, Hibernian FC supporters were invited into the Famous Five suite where several items, memorabilia and artefacts from Pat’s footballing career were displayed.
Hosted by Hibs TV commentator Cliff Pike, Pat shared stories of his legendary spell with the Club before answering questions from supporters and posing for photos.
Pat, who turned 80 on Friday 13 September, was toasted by Gleann Mòr Spirits and was presented with a birthday cake on the night to mark the occasion. The Club will continue his birthday celebrations ahead of kick-off in our William Hill Premiership match with St Johnstone on Saturday.
