A MATH teacher accused of having sex with a 16-year-old student was caught after cops found scratch marks on the boy’s back.
Hailey Clifton-Carmack, 26, from Missouri, pleaded guilty to having sexual contact with her student.

The teacher, from Laquey High School, now faces up to four years in prison – and has been put on house arrest until she is sentenced.
Allegations first surfaced in December after a classmate showed pictures of scratch marks on the victim’s body to authorities.
Clifton-Carmack denied having any kind of relationship with any students outside of school – and fled to her family home in Texas.
But she was arrested by Garden Ridge Police Department in January on charges of sexual contact with a student, statutory rape in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and child molestation.
Cops found text messages on Clifton-Carmack’s phone that appeared to show her alleged relationship with the minor.
The sordid affair even took place during school hours – and fellow students were allegedly used as “lookouts”, court documents reveal.
But a plea deal was signed by the defendant that saw her admitting to having sex in exchange for having the other charges dropped.
Mark Creighton, the victim’s father, allegedly knew about the illicit relationship but did not report it to the authorities.
Instead, the dad is said to have continued to cover up for them and “even allowed the accused to come over to his residence and see the victim while he was present,” the court heard.
He has now been charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Creighton reportedly told prosecutors: “[They] are going to do it behind my back, so I may as well let it happen.”
Prosecuting Attorney Kevin S. Hillman said he has “agreed to assist the State and testify if needed”, but revealed his case will be on hold until the teacher is sentenced.
Kent Stoumbaugh, the district’s superintendent, said: “The alleged misconduct is inexcusable and does not meet the professional standards for district employees.
“The district took immediate action once we were aware of this situation.
“The employee has not been in the district since December 8, 2023, and we do not anticipate her return.”
Clifton-Carmack was previously married to Chance Carmack, a mixed martial arts fighter who is said to have been trained with the US Army.
It was her first teaching job, which she had been at for a year and a half.
