Delaney’s nose underwent a dramatic transformation during her pregnancy[/caption]Taking to TikTok, the mum shared a picture of herself before she fell pregnant with her daughter.
In the image, Delaney can be seen smiling at the camera, whilst posing in her car.
She is wearing a white lace top and her brown hair tumbles in loose curls around her shoulders.
She then shared a second ‘before’ picture, of her sporting a cream jumper, with a wide-brimmed hat on her head.
Then Delaney shared a picture of herself during her pregnancy, and the difference is astounding.
Her nose had swelled to double the size, making her look almost unrecognisable.
She revealed that the swelling had gotten especially bad towards the end of her pregnancy.
“Although ‘pregnancy nose’ is not a medical term, many women’s noses do appear to be bigger toward the end of pregnancy, and they may also experience more frequent nasal drainage than prior to pregnancy,” says Jessica Madden, M.D., IBCLC, a board-certified neonatologist, pediatrician, lactation consultant, and the medical director of Aeroflow Breastpumps.
Thankfully. Delaney said that her nose shrank back to its normal size around two weeks after she gave birth.
She added that the face transformation was “worth it” to have her baby girl.
However, she hopes that she can escape pregnancy nose with her next child.
Delaney’s (@delaneyhoskins) video has likely left many people open-mouthed, as it has racked up over 636,000 views on the video sharing platform.
TikTok users raced to the video’s comments section to share their thoughts.
