The BMW 4 Series Coupé combines dynamically flowing lines and enlarged proportions with a body optimised for agility and torsional rigidity. In addition, the four passengers in the BMW 4 Series Cabrio can experience the sporty travel experience offered by a BMW 4 Series, along with the sensation of open-top driving. The electric roof mechanism can be activated during travel at speeds of up to 50 km/h, with the opening/closing process taking 18 seconds.

The powertrain range of the new BMW 4 Series includes powerful and highly-efficient petrol and diesel engines with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, and electrification in the form of mild 48V hybrid technology.

All power units offer an outstanding combination of sporty driving pleasure and fuel economy, belonging to the current Efficient Dynamics modular engine generation, and are combined as standard with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport eight-speed transmission.
