PENTICTON, B.C. – The Penticton Vees Junior Hockey Club is pleased to announce the commitment of 2007-born defenceman Sebastian Dell’Elce for the 2025-26 season, the team announced Wednesday.
Sebastian is the younger brother of former Vees’ defenceman Francesco Dell’Elce, who played in Penticton last season. Francesco is currently a freshman at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.
“Sebastian is a solid two-way defenceman that we know will be well prepared for us after another development year at St. Andrew’s College,” commented Vees’ President, General Manager, and Head Coach, Fred Harbinson.
Dell’Elce, 17, is playing for St. Andrew’s College Under-18 Prep team. Last season, the Nobleton, Ontario, product posted 23 points (4G, 19A) in 52 games as a 16-year-old. The 6’1, 185-pound defenceman is committed to Quinnipiac University.
“I look forward to joining the Vees and playing in the BCHL next season, as I prepare for college. Penticton is a top organization with a great coaching staff, and they continue to win and move players on to higher levels. I’m excited to be part of that success next year,” said Dell’Elce.
The Vees organization is excited to welcome Sebastian into the fold for the 2025-26 season.
