Agatha All Along is Disney+’s next series in the Marvel cinematic universe. Starring Kathryn Hahn as she reprises her role as Agatha Harkness from Wandavision, the series is set to release its first two episodes on September 18.
On Tuesday (September 10), Kathryn and co-star Joe Locke took to the red carpet for the UK premiere in London, England.
Kathryn and Joe were joined by the show’s creator Jac Schaeffer.
Not only was the premiere themed like the infamous witches road that Agatha must travel in the series, but it was also an immersive event with cosplayers as well as a tarot card reader.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Jac explained the ethos of the show as, “These witches, if they want to be a trope, they get to be a trope. If they want to be something different and unexpected, they get to be that, too. They get to be all of the things.” Much like Wandavision dove into TV sitcoms, it seems Agatha All Along will be focusing on witches and how they’ve been portrayed in the media.
Agatha All Along stars Kathryn Hahn in the title role along with Joe Locke as teen. The rest of the show’s ensemble cast is made up of Aubrey Plaza, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, and Debra Jo Rupp who plays Mrs. Hart, her character from Wandavision. Be sure to check out the trailer before the series premieres on Disney+ on September 18.
FYI: Joe is wearing a suit by Celine and Cartier jewelry.
