The Royal Architectural Institute of Canada has announced the 30 recipients of the King Charles III Coronation Medal.
This Canadian commemorative medal was created to mark His Majesty King Charles III’s Coronation on May 6, 2023. The medal is a way to recognize outstanding individuals of all ages and from all walks of life who have made a difference in their communities.
The 30 individuals have made significant contributions to their country, province, territory region, community or abroad, which brings credit to Canada.

This medal program is administered by the Chancellery of Honours, as part of the Office of the Secretary to the Governor General (OSGG). Various partners, including the RAIC, were invited to nominate candidates from their communities or organizations.
The King Charles III Coronation medals will be presented during the RAIC Congress on Architecture which will take place in St. Andrews, NB, on October 7, 2024, which is World Architecture Day.
