Benito Martínez Ocasio, otherwise known as Bad Bunny, is boarding Adam Sandler‘s Happy Gilmore sequel!
Kyle Newacheck, who directed the Netflix comedy Murder Mystery, is directing the sequel to the beloved 1996 comedy about a wannabe professional hockey player who discovers his talent in golf, via THR.
Plot details are still being kept under wraps, and Bad Bunny‘s role has not been disclosed.

Original stars Julie Bowen and Christopher McDonald are returning in their roles as Virginia Venit, Adam‘s onscreen love interest, and Shooter McGavin, a jealous golf pro and the villain of the movie.
“It ain’t over. The way I see it… we’ve only just begun,” Adam wrote on Instagram, indicating that the film has begun shooting.
Adam and Tim Herlihy wrote the screenplay as well.
There’s also going to be a cameo from a certain NFL superstar!
