Here is a breakdown of every important date in the 2024-2025 Calendar for you to reference all season long. This will be UPDATED as events are announced, including celebrations regarding the Toronto Raptors 30th anniversary season.
September 24-25th: Training camps open for teams who have preseason games outside of North America.
September 30th: RAPTORS MEDIA DAY. This is also the date that NBA veterans can report to their teams.
October 1st: Training camps open.
October 1st-5th: Toronto Raptors hold training camp in Montreal, Quebec.
October 4th: NBA preseason games begin.
October 4th and 6th: NBA Abu Dhabi Games (Celtics vs Nuggets)
October 6th: Toronto Raptors vs Washington Wizards preseason game at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
October 18th: NBA Preseason ends.
October 21st: Opening day rosters are due by 5 p.m. ET.
October 22nd: NBA regular season begins.
October 23rd: Toronto Raptors home opener vs Cleveland Cavaliers (7:30 p.m. ET)
October 26th: NBA G-League Draft
October 26th-November 7th: G-League training camp.
November 2nd: Mexico City game (Miami Heat vs Washington Wizards)
November 8th: G-League Tip-off tournament begins.
November 12th: Emirates NBA Cup tournament begins. (Toronto Raptors play Nov. 12 v. Milwaukee Bucks, Nov. 15 v. Detroit Pistons, Nov. 29 v. Miami Heat, and Dec. 3 v. Indiana Pacers)
December 3rd: Last day of NBA Cup group play.
December 10th-11th: NBA Cup quarterfinals
December 14th: NBA Cup semifinals in Las Vegas
December 17th: NBA Cup finals in Las Vegas
December 19th-22nd: G-League showcase
December 27th: NBA G-League regular season begins
January 5th: 10-day contracts can officially be signed starting on this day.
January 10th: All NBA contracts are guaranteed for the rest of the season after this day.
