Former President Donald Trump vowed to enact mass arrests of his political foes over the weekend, which provoked a blistering response from Vice President Kamala Harris's campaign.
In Trump's weekend threat — in which he said that "those people that CHEATED [in the 2020 election] will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the Law, which will include long term prison sentences so that this Depravity of Justice does not happen again" — the Harris campaign accused him of fantasizing about a "revenge tour."
"As we head into the debate, an extreme and unhinged Donald Trump is further ratcheting up his dangerous threats of revenge and retribution," said Harris-Walz spokesperson Ammar Moussa. "Aided by his Supreme Court allies that gave him virtually unlimited immunity, and his Project 2025 allies who wrote the playbook to give Trump virtually limitless, unchecked power, Trump is openly laying out how he will try to rule as a dictator."

The message then went on to accuse Trump of only caring about himself and not the country as a whole.
"The American people will reject Trump's self-obsessed revenge tour this November and elect the only candidate with a positive vision for our country who is actually fighting not for herself but for all Americans regardless of political party — Vice President Kamala Harris."
Trump has been cranking up incendiary rhetoric in recent days, as he also vowed over the weekend that his mass deportation program of undocumented immigrants would be "bloody."
