THERE’S nothing worse than trying to get clothes dry when it’s raining outside.
And with energy prices showing no sign of dropping anytime soon, we’re all looking for ways to avoid using the tumble dryer.
So one mum is hoping to help others after finding a massive airer on TikTok shop that’s a game changer for her laundry process.
Showing off the £22.99 airer in a video on her TikTok page, Jordan explained: “That is me converted. These are so much more spacious.
“You can get a full two loads of washing on here, whereas on the kind of standard ones, I really struggle to get one load of washing on.”
The airers are also collapsible, with additions that pop out on the side on which to hang other bits.
And the size difference is so immense that Jordan can even get two pairs of trousers on one section – where she could only get one before.
“If that isn’t enough, it’s on wheels as well,” she continued.
“So it’s super, super easy to move around.”
She even moves it outside when the weather is better outside.
“We all need a good airer. Definitely converted!” Jordan captioned the video.
But responses to the airer in the comments section were mixed, with one writing: “It’s not heated and nothing is spaced out, it’s never going to dry.”
However, Jordan said that she uses a dehumidifier with hers – as she would with any airer being used inside.
“Should never dry clothes indoors!” another added.
“All the moisture goes into the walls and creates damp and mould.”
“I have a dehumidifier? What else are you going to do in the winter?” Jordan questioned.
“I’ve had one two years,” a third said.
“Also use with a dehumidifier – 9am the clothes go on 6pm they come off perfectly dry!”

“Tumble dryers are terrible for your clothes and electricity bill!

“I think if you look at the comments and do a simple Google search you’ll find most people are using airers.”
