A MUM who proudly spoils her daughters has handed her four-year-old a bank card to go shopping.
Jaelyn Cox, 30, wants to teach her girls financial independence and reckons it’s important that they understand the value of money.
Though it’s unusual, she’s adamant that giving little Valentina more responsibility has paid off in a big way.
She said: “My daughter is four and has her own savings account.
“I also a give her one of my bank cards to use and I set up Apple Pay on her phone.
“When we’re out shopping she pays for her stuff with her phone using Apple Pay.
“She’s really clever and enjoys when I give her money and take her shopping.”
Jaelyn previously caused a commotion by claiming elective c-sections are a cop out.
She thinks new mums should get back to normality as quickly as possible.
And that’s why she believes natural births should be the only option available provided the mother and baby are healthy.
She said: “I think getting a c-section is the easy way out.
“If you’re in labour and you can push, you should.
“They shouldn’t give people the option to get a c-section unless it’s an emergency.”
Previously talking about maternity leave, Jaelyn said: “I think those people are just lazy and looking for an excuse.
“It’s important to not let being a mum take over your life.
“Every kid needs a happy mum and having a break from your kids is good thing.
“I think it’s important to get back to your old life and back into a work routine.
“Sitting about the house and letting ‘being a mum’ take over your life is only going to make you depressed.
“I think getting to the gym the second week and dieting is a must after you give birth.
“And also for your relationship to start looking good again for your partner.
