Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one annoyed fan fumed: “A new series started on Monday, so why are @ITV fobbing us off with repeats after just three days?”
Another added: “It’s not a new #TippingPoint – the trigger is real.”
A third agreed: “Can’t believe this is another repeat! Turned off TV until Answer Run comes on on BBC1.”
While a fourth commented: “So #Lingo and #TippingPoint show new episodes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but repeats on Thursday and Friday. What is this?!”
It comes as viewers had previously celebrated the beloved show making its return to screens.
This Morning host Ben Shephard was back at the helm once again – and devoted fans couldn’t be more excited.
Posting on social media afterwards, one viewer shared: “It’s been an eternity, but it’s back – brand new #TippingPoint.”
Another echoed: “After six months of repeats, it’s Monday, it’s four o’clock, it’s brand-new #TippingPoint!”
As a third commented: “It’s been a while. And it’s NEW #TippingPoint too. Hola.”
Someone else remarked: “It’s only a brand new #TippingPoint! Hola tippers.”
Monday’s episode featured contestants Clifton, Caroline and Ross taking part.
Ahead of the broadcast, Ross posted a snap of himself and the presenter to X, with the caption: “Oh hey @BenShephard!
“So I’ve been sitting on some news… and can finally reveal that I will be a contestant on ITV‘s #TippingPoint TONIGHT at 4pm!!
“It’s gonna be a lot of fun, so tune in if you can.”
Ben replied: “Loved having you on Ross – hope you enjoyed the show, so glad people can finally see it!!”
In the end, Clifton emerged as the final contestant standing – he walked away with £3650.
Tipping Point airs on ITV1 and is available to watch on ITVX.
