Louisiana mother finds minor child undressed with 27-year-old boyfriend; suspect arrested
STERLINGTON, La. (KTVE/KARD) -- A Shreveport man is accused of raping an 11-year-old after being caught with the undressed girl by the victim's mother, authorities said.
Dominique McWright, 27, of Shreveport, is charged with first-degree rape.
Deputies of the Ouachita Parish Sheriff's Office arrived at approximately 11:37 a.m. Saturday at a residence in Sterlington, in reference to a sexual assault complaint. According to authorities, the complainant left her 11-year-old child at the residence with the complainant's boyfriend, McWright.
When the complainant returned to the residence, she discovered that the entrance door was locked. The complainant then allegedly began beating on the door, and the juvenile victim reportedly opened the door wearing only a shirt.
According to authorities, the victim stated that they went to sleep fully clothed and awoke to the complainant beating on the door. When the victim woke up, they were only wearing a shirt with McWright allegedly on top of them.
According to responding deputies, the juvenile stated that their genital area hurt and officials learned that semen was on the bed. McWright fled the scene but was later apprehended, officials said.
He was booked into the Ouachita Correctional Center and charged with first-degree rape.
