KATIE Price has left fans questioning her decision to share a video of a horse being attacked by a dog – hours after being slammed for her own history with pets.
The former glamour model, 46, posted the footage on her social media after stumbling across it on the internet.
It comes after the star’s own pet history was questioned[/caption] Katie was slammed just a day earlier after posting a video of herself and her dog[/caption]The short clip shows the moment Shannon Edwards’ horse was bitten and scratched by an unleashed dog in Gillingham, Kent.
Shannon, a mum-of-two, later spoke out and said it was the first time she had taken her seven-year-old son Alfie out for a ride.
Her scared child can be heard crying and screaming “Mummy” in the footage as the large dog leapt up at the pony.
Katie posted the shocking video, which was filmed in June, to her Instagram Stories today with the caption: “This is horrific.”
But although Katie is a very keen horsewoman herself, her decision to share such a clip has raised eyebrows.
Just 24 hours ago, the mum-of-five came under five for posting a video of herself and her brown Chihuahua called Buddy.
Twice-bankrupt Katie was sat on a garden chair stroking Buddy while making a quip about her ‘finances’.
Her followers, however, were quick to hit out and question how she is able to still keep pets after eight animals died while in her care.
One fan was so angry to see Katie with her dog that they threatened to call the RSPCA.
There has even been a petition running since 2020 calling for the star to be banned from owning pets. It currently has more than 37,000 signatures.
Raging on the latest video of her and Buddy, one follower said: “Why are you even allowed to keep any more animals how long before this one gets given away because it’s not cute enough for Instagram or it dies like most of the animals you have had in your care.”
Another added: “Every animal she has ever owned has died the most horrific of deaths or she’s just given them away like they mean nothing.”
And a third wrote: “How are you still allowed to keep animals?”
Others, however, were quick to gush about how Katie and Buddy.
“Aww katie you are so lovely . Anyone who has love for animals has a soft and pure heart . You are so misunderstood,” one fan said.
