HOLLYOAKS star Annie Wallace has quit the soap after nine years.
The actress – who plays Sally St. Claire in the Channel 4 soap – will bow out next week during the show’s big stunt, The Sun can reveal.

“She will bow out in heroic scenes during the dramatic stunt with the scenes being kept top secret.
“It’s not a defined end and the door has been left firmly open for her for a potential return down the line but when the show jumps forward a year, Sally isn’t in the village any longer.”
The show’s big relaunch will see it catapult a year into the future after Channel 4 slashed the episode count by 40 per cent to just three per week.
New executive producer Hannah Cheers stepped in earlier this year to shepherd the show through its changes – with ratings soaring since she took over.
However sadly the soap will be saying goodbye to 20 cast members as well as production staff behind the scenes.
Just two weeks ago, we told how Charlie Behan has quit Hollyoaks after 13 years.
The actor – who plays Charlie Dean in the Channel 4 soap – has also already filmed his final scenes as the son of the late Becca Dean.
Actor Charlie joined the soap in 2011, taking over the role from Joshua McConville.
A source said: “Charlie’s leaving is a big decision but it’s time for him to spread his wings.
“There are big changes at Hollyoaks and he’s going to miss everyone there but he’s excited for the future.”
