Returning favourites include Albert Bartlett Crinkle Fries (£2.99) and Nairn’s Ginger, Dark Chocolate and Toffee Oat Biscuits (£0.99), as well as sweet treats such as Mackie’s Indulgent Toffee Fudge ice cream (£2.99).
Meanwhile, a Scots bakers has combined two takeaway favourites — to make a 1,550 calorie doner kebab pie.
Paisley Pie Co’s £9 fusion — complete with chilli sauce — has been described as the “ultimate hangover cure” by punters.
It includes a lamb, beef, chicken and turkey mix in a golden puff-pastry case.
The doner delicacy has already lured eager customers to the firm’s Renfrewshire shop from as far as 300 miles away.
Makers suggest each 9in pie could feed three — but some hungry visitors have scoffed more than one in a single sitting.
That is despite each one taking up around three quarters of the suggested average daily calorie intake for a man.
Business owner Scott McGinley, 33, told The Sun: “The response is just unbelievable. Word has really spread. We’ve had people in from Manchester and Brum. Some eat two each.
“I’m a massive fan of kebabs and I know a thing or two about pies, so I thought let’s combine them.”
One fan said: “These should be illegal — they look amazing.”
