ONE of the main stars of BBC Breakfast has gone missing from the show again.
Amid a huge show shake-up, another co-star from the publicly funded corporation was forced to step in.

The pair were sat in their usual places on the iconic red sofa as they delivered the latest headlines and news updates.
However, one of their usual colleagues appeared to be absent from the long-running news magazine show.
Carol Kirkwood is a favourite amongst fans for her enthusiastic delivery and bright persona.
Often, bosses send her to all different locations around the UK to deliver the latest weather forecasts.
However, she appeared to be missing from screens as another long-running personality stepped in for her.
Weatherman Matt Taylor, 48, has been a part of the BBC for nearly two decades.
After working as a meteorologist at the Met Office from 1998, he first joined the corporation in 2004.
He appeared on BBC Breakfast for a second day as Carol Kirkwood took some much-needed downtime away from the show.
This comes after two stars went missing from the show in a huge hosting shake-up yesterday.
Alongside Carol’s absence, eagle-eyed viewers tuned in to see that Sally Nugent, 53, had been replaced in a hosting shake-up.
Last weekend Sally looked worlds away from her usual slot on the breakfast show as she sizzled by a pool.
She did not reveal her location to fans after jetting out of the UK, but the star sported a huge smile.
Her absence wasn’t explained on the show, but familiar face, Nina Warhurst, anchored the programme with Jon Kay, 54, instead.
