Two of the Bears’ biggest names were limited in the team’s first practice of the regular season Wednesday — but no one was out.
Receiver Keenan Allen, whose absence the team dismissed as a shoe-related issue last week, was limited with a heel injury. Defensive end Montez Sweat was limited with a toe problem.
Others who were limited were tackle Kiran Amegadjie (quad), center/guard Ryan Bates (shoulder), running back Roschon Johnson (toe) and defensive tackle Zacch Pickens (groin).
Wednesday marked the first day that NFL teams playing on Sunday were required to submit an injury report to the league. Their opponent, the Titans, had safety Jamal Adams (hip) out and receiver DeAndre Hopkins (knee) and safety Otis Reese (concussion) limited.
Allen said before practice he felt as healthy as he had in recent years.
“Absolutely,” he said. “Yeah, I still feel good.”
The Bears host the Titans on Sunday at noon (Fox-32).
