TOPEKA (KSNT) - The Topeka Fire Department is working the scene of a house fire in west Topeka on Wednesday.
Firefighters responded to reports of a house fire around 1:21 p.m. on Sept. 4 in the 2000 block of Southwest Fairlawn Road. According to a 27 News reporter on scene, there are six firetrucks and Topeka Police officers on scene. There is visible fire damage to the house. Responders are redirecting traffic in the area.
A Kansas Gas Service vehicle was also at the scene.
