She said: “So I went a different kind of uniform shopping yesterday. @Gordongram took me to get my first chef whites, so I am off to culinary school this September. I am so excited for this next chapter and dad and I had the most exciting day getting all my uniform and equipment.”
The trainee chef who is one of six siblings, graduated over the summer from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Psychology and described her experience of student life as having been the ‘best time.’
It was during her student days, while others were drinking in the bar, that she competed on the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, partnered with Nikita Kuzmin and surviving to week 10 of the competition.
Dad Gordon and mum Tana Ramsay were in the audience each week, along with her siblings, to show their unyielding support.
Indeed Tilly has always shared a special bond with dad Gordon, as the pair appeared on C4’s Celebrity Gogglebox together and also starred in a Spanish cookery program on the National Geographic channel.
But Tilly’s passion for food has been evident from a young age, as she had her own cooking show on CBBC called Matilda and the Ramsay bunch alongside her family.
She has also made numerous TV appearances on shows including Blue Peter, Gordon Ramsay’s Home Cooking, Masterchef Junior and the Late Late show with James Cordon.
No doubt Tilly has the edge over her fellow chefs having a father whose arguably the most successful british restaurantuer of all time.
