Bindi Irwin’s daughter, Grace Warrior, is honing her quirky, artsy skills, and no one is more proud than her grandma, Terri Irwin.
On Sept 3, Terri shared a series of darling photos of Grace Warrior doing her latest hobby: making pet rocks! She shared photos of the whole process on her Instagram with the caption reading, “Grace loves creating pet rocks, then releasing them to the wild!”
In the first photo, we see Grace Warrior looking as adorable as can be as she paints an array of rocks she finds. Then, in the last three image, we see her placing them all around the Australia Zoo: by trees, near plants, and more.
Isn’t this so precious? Not only is Grace Warrior showing off her artistic side, but she’s doing it in such a cool, vintage way!
(Pet Rocks were made popular in the mid-1970s, but they’ve been coming back in recent years!)
For those who don’t know, Bindi and her husband Chandler Powell welcomed their daughter Grace Warrior, 3, on March 25, 2021, which was exactly one year after their intimate wedding ceremony at the Australia Zoo.
In a previous interview with SheKnows, Bindi talked about how she thinks playtime with her daughter is one of the most important things to do. “Those moments of connection with play I still draw upon as an adult, and I think that’s really, really special. [P]laytime is so important because it gives kids the opportunity to have those building blocks for the foundation for the rest of their life.”
She added, “You play and you’re building confidence, you’re expanding on your knowledge, and discovering the magic of the world around you.”
