NEW YORK, New York - U.S. stocks finished sharply lower on Tuesday, the first trading day for September as U.S. markets were closed on Monday for the Labor Day weekend.
Technology stocks dived with the Nasdaq Composite shedding more than 3 percent as Nvidia fell 9.53 percent. Trump Media tumbled 7.28 percent, reducing President Donald Trump's holding to a capitalization of $2 billion.
