COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) -- A new quick-service sushi bar opening on Tuesday in Polaris Fashion Place is giving away free sushi to costumers who find a man in the mall wearing a red morph bodysuit with a QR code on his chest.
From noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, guests who scan the QR code on the man roaming around the mall dressed in the red suit can claim one free sushi roll in celebration of Ujelei Sushi's grand opening. The new sushi bar is located in the food court near the entrance, between Dick's Sporting Goods and Bibibop.
Ujelei is the first eatery for Rajesh Kumar Shrestha, the former executive head sushi chef from Jeff Ruby's Steakhouse. The bar boasts as a "fast-casual Japanese restaurant," with fresh options for dine-in or takeout such as sushi, hand rolls, donburi bowls, as well as sashimi, udon and soba noodle soup.
The new quick-service location is opening as another popular sushi bar recently launched new Polaris, Kura Revolving Sushi Bar which opened in January. The sushi bar serves dishes on a moving conveyor belt and is home to more than 500 locations across Japan, Taiwan and the United States.
