A two-year-old girl is in critical condition in hospital after she was hit by a car in Limassol on Tuesday afternoon.
Under conditions that are still being investigated, the young girl who was with her mother seemed to have run off into the street while they were walking on the pavement.
She was hit by an incoming vehicle and has been transferred to Makario hospital in Nicosia due to the severity of her condition.
Reports said the driver was not speeding and tested negative to a narcotest and alcotest.
