Ormerod enjoyed his breakthrough season after coming through the ranks of the Coasters’ academy. Following his debut cameo appearance from the substitutes bench against Bromley, he scored his first and second goals for Fylde on his first start in a brace against Rochdale.
More goals followed against Bromley, Solihull Moors, Maidenhead United and Chesterfield seeing the young forward grab 12 goal contributions in 31 games during his first senior year in football.
Ormerod has continued making appearances within the first team this campaign, adding a further five matches to his record as he continues to gain experience within senior football.
As for Iszy, the Fylde defender signed for the Coasters in 2022 after 13 years at the Liverpool academy and has made 47 appearances since joining the club.
The 22-year-old has been a strong and reassuring presence in the Coasters defence, and was announced as the vice-captain after becoming a vital member of the squad providing admirable leadership skills.
Binks also recently added another goal to her Fylde tally, scoring directly from a corner during last weekend’s defeat at Middlesbrough, making a positive start to the new campaign after winning ‘Supporters Group Player of the Season’ for last year.
Winners of both awards will be announced in due course with the event set to take place at Emirates Old Trafford on Monday, 25th November.
