COHOES, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- Bye-i Brewing is getting ready to open in its new location. The brewery is set to open to the public on September 12 at 151 Saratoga Street in Cohoes.
The brewery officially closed its taproom at 122 Remsen Street in Cohoes on August 23. Owners Bob Newberry and George Powley made the move to consolidate Bye-i Brewing's operations.
The taproom at Remsen Street housed one of their production facilities, with the kitchen being across the street. Their second production facility was already at the Saratoga Street location, Newberry previously told NEWS10, and it's a bigger space.
Newberry said the kitchen at the new location won’t be ready to open for at least another year. They’ll also have a 1,200 square-foot space for outside seating that they also hope to have open in 2025.
Bye-i Brewing Mug Club members will be able to get a special sneak peak of the new space on September 11. "Thank you for your continued support and hard work," said the owners. "We can’t wait to welcome you all to our new home!"
