The Ministry of Labour and Employment has urged State Governments to include marginalised workers in the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This follows the Union Cabinet's approval to extend the scheme until 2028-29, aiming to provide 2 crore additional houses. A new MIS portal will help manage data and improve welfare policies for these workers.
