A BUDGET-FRIENDLY skincare product has been a staple in one woman’s routine since she was a teenager.
Chandra Harrison revealed her granddaughter has embraced her proven beauty tips for a healthy complexion.

She is often asked what she uses daily to maintain an age-defying appearance.
Speaking to The U.S. Sun, she revealed all the steps in her beauty regimen.
Harrison said she’s “never” used heavy layers of foundation because the “skin needs to breathe.”
Quality skincare is crucial for a youthful look rather than focusing on makeup.
“My skincare routine started when I was 15,” she said.
“I would moisturize twice a day, first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
“I would apply Astral Intensive Moisturiser because it not only moisturizes but it also cleans your makeup off.
“I would place a hot towel over the moisturizer to open the pores and then wipe it away.
“You can actually see the difference opening up the pores and removing the grime and pollution from the skin.”
She has continued to “religiously” perform the beauty ritual every day.
“[My routine is ] exactly the same as when I was in my 20s,” she said.
“Astral and a hot towel. I do it religiously.
“Even if I get home late, I won’t go to bed until I’ve done my skincare routine.
“I won’t sleep otherwise.”

Harrison said starting young with a good skincare routine is her biggest anti-aging tip.
Consistency is key rather than relying on genes for a flawless appearance.
“It’s important that young people, even children, learn how to take care of their skin and to clean it properly,” she said.
“You’ve got to start young and persevere.
“Use one moisturizer and stick with it.
“Even my 4-year-old granddaughter is learning how to clean the ‘baddies’ out of her skin.”
A good skincare routine is equally important for men and women for a healthy complexion.
Harrison said people should educate themselves about looking after their skin as it isn’t just topical products that are necessary.
“Everyone is hunting for something that keeps them looking young but if you’ve got a ‘recipe” don’t change it,’ she said.
“Good digestion is so important to ensure the digestive system removes all the garbage because if you don’t, the toxins will block your pores and beauty starts from the inside.”
