Police are investigating a case of hooliganism at a school in Nicosia. Two suspects were questioned in connection with the incident.
Police received a report at around 2.45am on Tuesday regarding two hooded people inside a school in Nicosia. Officers arrived at the scene and saw them leaving the school’s fenced area.
The suspects, identified as a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, both residents of Nicosia, were stopped by the police for a check. They were found in possession of three paint buckets, several rollers and three dozen eggs.
A search of the school revealed damage to a wall, where slogans had been spray-painted.
The two teenagers were taken to a police station for questioning and were later released, with a summons to appear at a later date.
