BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) -- A man is listed in critical condition and two others were hospitalized following a wrong-way crash Sunday night on Route 33, Buffalo police announced.
Police said just after 9:30 p.m., a Nissan Altima was traveling the wrong way on the eastbound lane when it struck another vehicle head-on near the Grider Street exit.
The driver of the Altima, a 26-year-old man, was transported by ambulance to ECMC and is listed in critical condition, officials said. Two occupants of the other vehicle were also transported by ambulance to ECMC to be treated for apparent non-life threatening injuries.
The incident remains under investigation.
