A single wolf may be responsible for the deaths of eight people in Bahraich since March, said Yadvendradev Vikramsinh Jhala, a leading wolf biologist. Jhala explained that the nature of the injuries suggests one wolf, not a pack, is behind the attacks. Forest officials have captured four of the six suspected wolves.
