FAYETTEVILLE – No. 6 Arkansas soccer (4-0-1) added eight more goals to its season total after defeating Western Kentucky, 8-0. The Hogs lead the NCAA with 31 goals.
The squad held Western Kentucky to just three shots for the match and picked up their third straight clean sheet.
Notes
- Junior defender Ella Riley opened the scoring in the 13th minute, her first collegiate goal. Freshman Anaiyah Robinson notched her first collegiate assist and midfielder Ella Rogers added her first as a Razorback.
- Graduate forward Ava Tankersley added her fourth goal of the season in the 16th minute thanks to another assist from Rogers, a career high.
- Junior midfielder Makenzie Malham netted her second goal in as many games. She headed in a corner kick from sophomore Avery Wren in the 18th minute.
- Junior forward Taylor Berman became the 17th Hog to score this season with her first collegiate goal before the end of the first half. Wren and forward Bella Field added to their assist total, their third and fourth of the season, respectively.
- Arkansas finished the half with 20 shots and held Western Kentucky shotless.
- The Hogs’ next two goals came from Robinson, her second and third in her last two matches. In the 52nd minute, she was fouled in the penalty box and converted the kick from the spot. Six minutes later, she booted a deflection inside the six-yard box to put the Razorbacks up 6-0.
- Field added her third goal via a mistake made by Hilltopper keeper Maddie Davis. Graduate Kate Doyle ran up on Davis’ attempted goal kick and blocked it towards open space outside the 18-yard box. Field fired past Davis to push the lead to seven.
- Doyle extended her scoring streak to five matches, every match this season, to close out the match in the 70th minute. The Seattle native leads the team with 6 goals and 14 points.
- Arkansas finished the match ahead in shots 30-3 with 16 on target.
- Sophomore Cora Hair received her first collegiate start.

- The Hogs are outscoring opponents 31-3 and outshooting opponents 150-31.
- Arkansas has had 17 players score its 31 goals. Of the 17, 11 have come off the bench and scored.
- The Razorbacks remain unbeaten in 35 of the last 36 home matches with a record of 33-1-2.
- Tankersley is inching closer to 100 career points. She sits at 91 with 30 goals and 30 assists, good for No. 7 on the program’s all-time points list, T-3rd on the all-time assists list and No. 8 on the all-time goals list.
