Jaclyn Smith will forever be a Charlie’s Angel and at 78, she is proving to be a force to be reckoned with in the fashion industry. On Tuesday, Aug. 27, she showed off her latest designs in a chic carousel of snapshots on Instagram.
The classic crisp lines to her creations prove that her fashions could appeal to any age group because they are timeless. Her followers praised her for delivering affordable, but beautiful clothing, for everyone.
One fan wrote, “The last photo ????Blue and white stripe ???? buttoned down ..a classic!” Another follower added, “Oh my gosh! These pictures are amazing Jaclyn. I really love this ruffle blouse on you, in this photo you can really see the details.” And we love a queen who is embraced by so many generations with one social media user sharing, “Me and my boyfriend always loved you! Smith’s business empire is so popular that she’s even expanding to the fragrance category with her new perfume, “Jackie.” She told WWD, “It’s soft, timeless, feminine and powdery. It doesn’t hit you in the face, and it lasts all day. When you get into bed at night and you’re reading, it might be faint, but there it is.”
The scent is a tribute to her husband, Brad Allen’s, romantic side. “He knew I loved vanilla and musk, and he surprised me by taking me to this little shop in France where you could mix your own fragrance,” she explained. “I started mixing all these oils, and I wore that fragrance for years until it reached a point where I couldn’t get those oils anymore.”
Smith is proving that this season of life is a fruitful, happy, and loving one. It’s why so many of her fans are inspired by the work that she’s doing both on and off the screen.
