Fred Trump III dropped a profanity on MSNBC over the Labor Day holiday as he weighed in on former President Donald Trump's controversial appearance at Arlington National Cemetery — and used "The Godfather 2" to describe his uncle.
Speaking on her show Monday, host Nicolle Wallace told viewers that Trump continues to "shamefully employ" the same tactic in "every single one of his political campaigns."
"That is, dragging our nation's veterans and their families into the muck with him to be used as political props," she said.
Days after what Wallace called a "performative" trip to the cemetery, where a smiling Trump posed for photos with Gold Star families in a section where shooting or recording campaign materials is banned, the Trump campaign is claiming President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris were the ones who ignored the invite. The White House has denied such an invitation was made.
"This is Mr. 'Suckers and losers' we're talking about here, his words, not ours, whose personal history is painted wall to wall, with not just moments but true beliefs that dishonor the military," jabbed Wallace.

Fred Trump, who recently came out with a Trump family tell-all book called "All in the Family: The Trumps and How We Got This Way," has written that his uncle used bone spurs to dodge the Vietnam War draft.
Wallace told him the Arlington story "guts me."
"I'm mad at myself for still being able to feel pain at things that Trump does," she said, noting she was "pained" about the cemetery incident.
Fred Trump recounted that his uncle had a draft deferment at Fordham University and two more after Fred's father helped get him into the Ivy League University of Pennsylvania.
He said his father came up with the bone spur "scheme" with a podiatrist, sending Donald Trump from "1A" — or front of the line — to "1Y."
When asked about Donald's reported "suckers and losers" comment, Fred Trump said his uncle believes anyone — including people with disabilities — that he deems "lesser than him" is a "loser."
"That's just the way he is. That ain't going to change," he said.
When asked why military members support Donald Trump, Fred said he had "no idea," but that he said on an interview with National Defense Radio that he told the truth: "I basically told this story and I said that 'he just doesn't give a s--- about them. He just doesn't."
Fred Trump compared his uncle's views on the military to the iconic "Godfather" franchise.
"It's the great "Godfather 2," one of the last scenes when Sonny says, 'Country ain't your blood, kid.' Michael Corleone says, 'No, I don't believe that.' Donald believes in Donald.'"
