TOPEKA (KSNT) - Locals will soon be able to visit a new hair salon opening this weekend at Topeka's West Ridge Mall.
27 News spoke with Angel Miller, a Topeka native and owner of Heavenly Designs, Beauty and Supply, about her new business at the mall. She said there will be a grand opening from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 6 for people to try out some of the services she has to offer.
"I do all kinds of different hairstyles, cuts and weaves," Miller said. "I do all kinds of stuff."
Miller said she's very excited to get her business up and running at the mall. Customers will be able to get their hair colored, braided and more at Heavenly Designs.
"Great service and good prices, that's what I'm going for," Miller said.
Potential customers are encouraged to try out the salon on its opening day and set up appointments going forward. Hours at the business will follow the mall's hours of Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and switching to 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. starting in the month of November for the Christmas season.
Miller said she is looking to fill a few positions at Heavenly Designs, like color specialists and barbers, and those interested can contact her by calling 785-408-6343. More information on her business will be posted to social media and a website in the near future.
